Using Polarised Light Microscopy (PLM) including Dispersion Staining (DS), all in accordance with Australian Standard AS4964-2004 ‘Method for the qualitative identification of asbestos in bulk samples’, you can be assured of the result & have confidence moving forward.
If you’re selling or buying a new property & your solicitor, real estate or building inspector requests a certificate it’s important to have an asbestos test completed with an official laboratory certificate to prove what’s in your roof.
Getting an asbestos test is easy. We offer a sample pick-up asbestos testing service or you can bring the sample in. To complete the test, we’ll need two 50c piece size samples in a small ziplock bag.
Next, your loose-fill insulation sample (or piece of board) is tested for traces of asbestos, with both a standard & priority service available for your peace of mind. You’ll get a lab certificate once the test is completed.
